The “Buy Nothing” Ad That TV Stations Refuse To Air

We all know that consumption must seriously slow down in order to maintain our planet’s life support systems. Unfortunately, corporations are legally bound to maximizing profits for their shareholders and are refusing to air the following ad:

Personally, I think the ad could have been better, however it’s the rejection of the message that chaps my hide. All the more reason to abolish corporate personhood and the forced maximization of profits at the expense of the planet.
